Commercial contracts are often carried out over a number of weeks or months so will require monthly valuations. Due to the value and length of the contract, it always makes sense to agree to interim valuations before the project is completed. We submit valuations at agreed intervals (usually 4-weekly) for the client or Contract Administrator’s approval – payment will be made only when you as the customer are completely happy with the valuation. A percentage completion is completed to each element of the build. Payments terms are normally seven days from date of valuation or those ruled by the contract.
